Item Settings

Control item catalog, barcode, stock, units, categories, description, tax, and discounts.

Core Item Settings

  • Enable Items & Products controls whether the item catalog appears in the sidebar.
  • What do you sell controls whether Add Item defaults to Product, Service, or both.
  • Barcode Scanner Integration shows or hides Barcode / EAN / UPC fields.
  • Track Inventory Stock controls stock validation and stock deduction during billing.

Catalog Fields

  • Measurement Units (UOM) shows the Primary Measurement Unit selector.
  • Default Units Preset auto-fills the preferred unit, such as PCS, KG, ML, or BOX.
  • Categories & Subcategories shows the Category dropdown in Add Item.
  • Description controls whether the item description field appears.

Pricing And Tax

  • Item Wise GST & Tax Rate shows the GST Tax Rate selector.
  • Item Wise Direct Discount controls line-level discounts in billing.
  • Party-Wise Custom Pricing enables customer or vendor-specific item pricing where configured.
